He was predeceased by: his parents, Elroy Selz and Bernice Selz; his sisters, Joyce Andreatta and Jane Blake; his mother-in-law Sally Kreft; and his godparents, Ray and Nita Arand.
He is survived by: his wife Shelly Kreft; his former wife Shelly Selz of Union; his children, Benjamin Selz of Union and Elizabeth "Libby" Selz (Kal Dargan) of Connecticut; his grandchildren, Ryleigh Selz, Bryson Selz and Krew Dargan; his sister Jacqueline Grubb (Michael) of California; his brothers-in-law, Larry Andreatta of St. Louis and Gordon Blake of St. Charles; and his father-in-law Jerry Kreft of Union. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Memorial donations may be made to Shriner's Hospitals for Children.
