He is survived by: his wife Gwen Welch; his children, Alan Welch (Amy) of Franklin, TN, John Welch (Lori) of St. Peters, MO, Jeff Welch (Cheryl Rich) of Fenton, MO, Grace Weiss of New Melle, MO, Kim Stephan (Mike) of Villa Ridge, MO, Tonya Walker (Martin) of Fenton, MO and Sheryl Wilson of Fenton, MO; his brother R. Dean Welch (Judith A.) of Jacksonville, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Galey (Carole) of Ozark, AL and Debbie Galey of Sedalia, MO. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Christian Church of Washington.
