He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Raymond Giedinghagen and Alice Doreen Schuenemeyer; his close friend Marie Hope Webb; and his sisters, Opal Ruth Surcey and Theresa Sally Becker.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Catherine Kopp; his daughter Allison Louise; his grandson Riley Louis Bowen (Carolyn Dell Miller); and his sisters, Jacqueline Kay Leicht of Spring, Elizabeth Ann (Charles Arthur Brandhorst) of Union, Donna Rae (David Lee Bandy) of Union, Mary Alice (Michael Lee Withington) of Union, Denise June Franke of Union and Karen Marie (John LeRoy Hanna). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
