She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Vaughn, and Flora Idol Vaughn, Sr. (Gessman); her brothers, Jim Vaughn and Robert Vaughn; her nephews, Wesley Vaughn, Terry Vaughn, Joey Vaughn and Larry Keeling; and her niece Shari Shipper.

She is survived by: her children, James Burgess, Jr. of Troy, MO, Kevin "Mike" Burgess (Becky) of Tremont, IL and Debbie Madigan of Bowling Green, MO; her siblings, Glenn Vaughn, Jr. of Warrenton, MO, Frank Vaughn (Jean) of Hawk Point, MO and Doris Vaughn of Whiteside, MO; her grandchildren, Michael Burgess (Alaina), Kelly Burgess, Amberle Campbell (Daniel), Andrew Burgess (Shea Blan), Austin Burgess (Taylor), Adam Burgess, Caitlin Bale-Laughlin, Lauren Roberts (Aaron) and Erin Madigan; and her sister-in-law Marget Vaughn. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
