She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Wilson and Eva Louise Dobbs Wilson; her former husband Richard L. Jewell; her husband James A. Melton; her siblings, James Wilson, Charles Wilson, Robert Lee Wilson, Betty Mae Vandiver, Evalee Repschlaeger, Nadine Brewer and Mary Guy; and her grandchildren, Cassandra Jewell and Jason King.
She is survived by: her children, Louise King (Jay) of Mammoth Spring, Maxine Rader (Bill) of Boone, Andy Jewell (Vickie) of Stella and Wesley Jewell of Thayer, Missouri; her grandchildren, Tina King of Billy Rader, III, Adam Willman, Travis Willman, Katrina Jewell, Jake Jewell, Donovan Hays, Mary Pliler, Maddi Jewell and Richard Jewell; and her friends, Lela Rae Stith and Faye Rader. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family and left at Carter Funeral Home in Thayer, Missouri.
