It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Leo Adams (Thayer, Missouri), born in Pocahontas, Arkansas, who passed away on November 24, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mossie Alexander and Neola Mae Cardwell Adams; his wife Gracie Fern Howell; his daughter-in-law La Jena Adams; and his niece Rachel Adams Ellington.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Lowery (Tommy) of Thayer, Missouri and David Adams (Sadie) of Thayer, Missouri; his grandchildren, Landon of Thayer, Missouri, La Crysta of Thayer, Missouri, Gregory of Thayer, Missouri, Becky of Thayer, Missouri and Dustin of Thayer, Missouri; and his siblings, Homer Adams (Ginger) of Dalton, Clifford Adams (Helen) of Ravenden Springs, Arkansas, Bernadine Guntharp (Leon) of Pocahontas, Erma Burr (Barry) of Cary and Dorothy McReynolds (Mackie) of Dalton, Arkansas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; brothers and sisters-in-law; cousins; other relatives; and many friends.
