With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cunningham James Sr. (Thayer, Missouri), born in DeWitt, Arkansas, who passed away on August 25, 2019 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Cunningham was predeceased by: parents, McCoy Cunningham and Essie Green-Cunningham; and siblings, Madae, Mildred and Billy.

Cunningham is survived by: children, Sue Dufilho of Olney, IL, James Cunningham, Janet Flowers of Lake Toxaway, N. C., Matt Cunningham of Kansas City, MO and Adam Cunningham of Kansas City, MO. Cunningham is also survived by 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
