He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Washie and Helen Louise Hines (Batson); and his siblings, Ronald, Charlie, Jimmy Hines, Phyllis Ann, Iva Fern Hines, Susie Shaw and Roberta "Faye" Hines.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hines; his sons, Chris Hines of Tarkio, Jim Hines of Tarkio and Matthew Hines (Dawn) of Tarkio; and his brothers, Billy Hines and LeRoy "Butch" Hines (Alice). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
