He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Lee and Anna Jean Powell (Shanks); his siblings, Neil Powell and Doris Babcock; and his nieces, Candace and Debra.
He is survived by: his son Stephen; his wife Lois Powell; his children, Steve Powell (Renee), Valerie Grossman (Philip), Shenandoah and Mark Powell (Brenda); his grandchildren, Amy, Taylor, Lee, Blair, Lauren, Tony and Brad; and his great grandchildren, Lance, Cash, Penny, Claire, Chase, Irene, Henry, Nolan, Anna and Eleanor.
