He was predeceased by: his parents, W. H. "Bill" Duncan and Bonnie Evelyn Terrill; his sister Kathy Smith; and his brother-in-law Duane Smith. He is survived by: his children, Becky Pitts (Jim), Jolene Smith (Michael), Davi Duncan and Dalton Duncan (Frannie); his brothers, Billy Duncan (Carolyn) and Tom Duncan (Brenda); his grandchildren, Kayleigh Drake, Ryanne Sowell (Ian), Shelby Pitts, Dakota Sharp (Kayla), Cole Smith, Hannah Smotherman (Austin), Ethan Smith, Skylea Boyle, Weslee Boyle and Uriah Duncan; his great grandchildren, Jace Drake, Elias Sowell, Lukis Sowell, Maisyn Smotherman, Graham Smotherman, Abram Smith and Wesson Smith; and his friend Patricia Satterfield. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
