She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Roy and Nellie Carlson McVeigh; her daughter Jeannette Lewis; her granddaughter Lindsay Heman; her son-in-law Tom Howser; and her siblings, Paul, Phillip, Ronald, Donald, Charles "Buddy", Russell, Milton "Elbert" McVeigh, Joyce McVeigh, Helen Elliott and Erma Morgan.
She is survived by: her spouse Iowan; her daughter Cheryl Howser of Stover; her son-in-law Jim Lewis of Stover; and her sister Mary Simmons of Roach. She is also survived by four grandchildren; five great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In keeping with Morgan County Health Department guidelines, social distancing will be observed.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Christ Lutheran Church.
