He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Cargill and Vera Cargill (Pankey); his wife Marie Melson (West); his daughter Peggy; his son-in-law Jerry Bullard; his siblings, Finis, Coy, Irvin, Winoma Brown, Zelia Houston, Fay Julian and Melva Wallen; his siblings-in-law, Wanda Cargill, Evelyn Cargill, Cindy Cargill, Bill Houston, Harold Julian and Gerald Wallen; and his nieces and nephews, Jim Cargill, J. R. Brown, Harry Wayne Brown, Rick Julian, Carolyn Frazer (Brown) and Beverly Ahring (Julian).

He is survived by: his nephew Alan; his close friends, Kenton and Brad Hickman; his grandson Nick Bullard (Natonya) of Stockton; his great grandchildren, Brooke and Abby Bullard; his brothers, Ivan Cargill (Beulah) of Stockton, Mervin Cargill (Shirley) of Stockton and Arlin Cargill; his sister-in-law Jackie Cargill of Stockton; his granddaughter-in-law Debbie Jameson (Josh); and also Hannah. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
