She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Rutledge and Mildred Eugene Rutledge; her daughter Patricia Kay; her husband Leon Smith (Butch); and her siblings, Charles, Donald, Glen, Irene, Audrey, Virgil, Sue and Joanne.

She is survived by: her daughter Bonnie Stansbury (Kenny); her brother Dwain Rutledge (Mary Ann); her grandchildren, Sara (Rocky), Jeff, Kelly, Vickie, Marcia, Daniel, Luke (Sabrina) and Makenzie (Derek); and her great grandchildren, Dalton, Dustin, Josie, Kaitlyn, Abigail and Madeline. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
