He is survived by: his father Jerry Lewis of Webb City; his wife Charity Lewis (Downey); his children, Jimmy Joe Lewis, Jr. of Miami, Mercedes Lewis of Webb City, Jessica Schaffer of Baxter Springs, Alexys Lewis (Sweetie Bug) of Nashville and Britany Thurlo of Stella, Missouri; his siblings, Randy Lewis (Jackie) of Carl Junction, Robbie Lewis (Lanetta) of Buford and Brandi McReynolds (Larry) of Carl Junction; and his pets, Izzy and Kloie.

Jimmy married Charity (Downey) Lewis on September 11, 2020 in Miami, Oklahoma and she survives him.
