She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Anderson Rhodes and Ruby Darlene Grieme Rhodes; her son Darrell Stanger; her son-in-law Carl Wright; and her granddaughter Elizabeth D. Fishburn.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Phoenix; her children, John Paul DeJaymes (Shanna) of Okay, Jodi Lynn Wright of Thayer, IL, Richard Austin Stanger of Thayer, IL, Kathy Lynn Barton (Grover Cleveland) of Boss, MO, Judy Elaine Stuhmer (Patrick) of Auburn, IL, Steve Andrew Stanger of Viburnum, MO and Kevin Allen Stanger of Viburnum, MO; and her sister Mary Kay Dietel (James) of Loami, IL. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
