He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Cox and JoAnn R. Underwood (Barney); his brother Johnny Cox; his brother-in-law Jerry Ring; and his granddaughter Kayla Cox.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Cox, Jr. (Jamie Williams) of St. Charles, MO, Samantha Cox of Steelville, MO and Michele Cox of Steelville, MO; his grandchildren, Michael Dale Cox, III of St. Charles, MO, Jacob Cox of St. Charles, MO, Madison Cox of St. Charles, MO and JoAnna Ismail (Siraj) of St. Louis, MO; his great grandchild Siraj Ismail of St. Louis, MO; his siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Ring of St. John, MO, Barbara Engler of Highland, IL, Cynthia Revelle of Troy, MO and Charles Cox of St. John, MO; and his sister-in-law Mary Cox (Colette) of Steelville, MO. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews; 14 great nieces and nephews; 3 great great nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
