He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Columbus Midyett and Rosalee Midyett; his parents-in-law, William "Bill" and Virginia Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Randy Lee Jones and Pam Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Midyett of Steelville, MO; his children, Brad Midyett of Cherryville, MO, Danielle Retkowski (Michael) of Steelville, MO, Aaron Midyett of Steelville, MO and Elliot Midyett (Amber Woolfrey) of Steelville, MO; his grandchildren, Gavyn Midyett, Carson Midyett, Thatcher Midyett, Oggy Midyett, Sean Retkowski, Aiden Retkowski, Evan Midyett, Emma Midyett, Josie Midyett, Greyson Midyett, McKenzie Porter and Liam Porter; his brother Jerry Midyett (LaDonna) of Cherryville, MO; and his brother-in-law Rick Jones of O'Fallon, MO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Hutson Funeral Home (601 Main St, Steelville, MO 65565). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
