She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland Lewellen and Barbara Lewellen (Hoover); her siblings, Carmen Lewellen and Kirby Lewellen; and her son-in-law Michael Barnhart.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Larry Pierce; her children, Danny Pierce (Linda), Denise Arentsen (Rick), Darla Barnhart and Darren Pierce (Kathy); her grandchildren, Jonathan Pierce (Andrea), Mitchell Barnhart, Tyetta Miller (Dustin), Jessica Arentsen, Rebeca Arentsen, Wesley Pierce (Emily) and Cody Pierce (Mercedes); her great grandchildren, James Wilson, Emersynn Shearer, Elena Pierce, Carter Pierce and Jesse Dowland; and her parents-in-law, Kay, Darrell Jones and Coleene Brassfield. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Though Sherry struggled for the past six years before losing her battle with Alzheimer's, her strength and love for her family continued.
