He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Varnado and Elena Varnado (Stockstill); his wife Christine Varnado; and his siblings-in-law, Louise Mierkowski and Otis Lee.
He is survived by: his daughter Kristie Grenier (Paul); his grandchildren, Zackary, Dalton Grenier, Kelly Sutton (Cody), Marlena, Bentley, Bryson, Ally, Skylar, Laine and Kayla; his sister Rosa Faye Lee; his brother-in-law Jerry Mierkowski; his nephews, Harrison Davis, John Ellis Daivs, Mark Mierkowski and Craig Mierkowski; and his niece Cyndi Buchholz. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews and many friends.
Burial will be held at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
