He is survived by: his children, Billy Hayes of Marshall, Patric Hayes, Jr. of Slater, Timmy Hayes of Slater, Adam McCallister of Marshall and Tobey Cole of Sedalia; and his siblings, Floyd O'Neal Mitchell of Texas, Dale Hayes of California and Jennifer Mitchell of Arizona. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren.
