He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde B. Hunter and Florene English Hunter; his grandson William Brett Jacobson; and his brothers, Clyde B. Hunter, Jr. and James Hunter.
He is survived by: his wife Janie Morrow; his children, David Hunter of Slater and Julie Jacobson of Slater; his grandson Hank Brody Jacobson of Warrensburg; his siblings, Roy Hunter of Marshall, Bobby Hunter of Longwood, Mary Fletcher of Sedalia, Irene Viebrock of Sedalia and Donna Watson of Sturgeon; and his mother-in-law Wynona Morrow of Marshall. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
