She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Morrell and Lula Mae Gilliam (McClain); and her husbands, Marvin Eugene Johnson and John Murray Jackson. She is survived by: her children, Richard Johnson of Gilliam, Lynda Wiseman of Grain Valley, MO, Edward "Butch" Johnson of Gilliam, Arvin "Ray" Johnson of Slater and Marchell "Trinket" Harris (James) of Miami; and her sister Gloria M. Thierfelder of Marshall. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
