She was predeceased by: her mother Johnnie Mae Hall Hoffmeyer; her husband Richard C. Fizer; and her brother Howard Hoffmeyer. She is survived by: her children, Mark Fizer (Judy) of Slater, Connie Clements (Joe) of Miami and Rebecca Fizer Browning of Lexington; and her pet Rocky. She is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her companion.
