She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Martin and Violet Esther Forqueran Martin; her husband Joe Gauldin; and her siblings, Richard Martin, Louise Bryant, Sally Tracy and Lana Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Gauldin of Marshall and Patty Gauldin; and her siblings, Gerald Martin of Boonesboro, Genny Meyer of Glasgow, Edna Blackwell of Glasgow and Carol Coltharp of Slater. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
