He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Charles and Mary Charles (Freece); and his spouse Laniss K. Kallauner. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Charles, Kim Marriott, Darrell Charles, Jr. and Sara Mischler; and his sister Hilda Talbott. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
