He was predeceased by: his parents, Morton Albert and Thelma Alta Anderson (Cannon); his former wife Mary Lou Anderson (Marcusson); his siblings, Jack Anderson (Ann), David Anderson, Joanne Andrews and Martha Anderson; and his siblings-in-law, Leck Dougherty, Otea Marcusson and Marjorie Nickell.
He is survived by: his wife Veda Nickell; his children, Danny Anderson (Elizabeth) and Melinda Beck (Robert); his stepsons, Dennis Nickell (Rowena), Doug Nickell (Rae) and Dan Nickell (Susan); his grandchildren, Kara Steinmetz (Chris), Bryan Anderson (Sarah), Braun Beck (Kristi) and Amber Grogan (Scott); his stepgrandchildren, Ashley Wendt, Megan Thomas (Michael) and Tyler Nickell (Katie); his great grandchildren, Nathan, Jackson, Olivia, Penelope, Nora, Corbin, Kaleb, Eli, Beckett, Remy and Austin; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Cole, Dillon, Emily, Benjamin and Maddie; his siblings, Rosmary Taylor (Robert), Jane Dougherty and Susan Anderson (Larry); and his siblings-in-law, Paul Andrews, Gene Anderson, William Marcusson, Marvin Nickell, Sharon Anderson and Majorie Anderson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Camp Quality- Northwest Missouri in care of the funeral home.
