With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grace R. Helvey of Sedalia, Missouri, who passed away on September 16, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud Moore and Ethel Moore (Cochran); her husband Billy G. Helvey, Sr.; her children, Melody Chapman, David Helvey and Rebecca Helvey; her grandson Bradley Long; and her siblings, Sarah Hayes, Bud Moore and Lester Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Haley of Sedalia and Billy G. Helvey, Jr. (Deanna) of Cole Camp; her sister Theresa Moore (Steve) of Sedalia; her son-in-law Bill Chapman of Warsaw; her grandchildren, John Withers, Justin Withers (Ashley), Billy Helvey III (Roxy), Elizabeth Helvey (Jordan Rawles) and Jamie Long (Cristel); and her great grandchildren, Abby, Morgan, Ayden, Ali, Justin, Stetson, Raylee, Jace and Catelin.
