She is survived by: her children, Stacey Klein (Jeff) of Smithton and Jeff Jarrett (Raul) of Kansas City; her grandchildren, Taryn Byron (Derek), Tyler Klein (Ashley) and Tori Klein; her close friend Gary Cox; and her sister Carol Helmendach. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Child Safe of Central Missouri, a cause that was close to Betty's heart and one she supported during her lifetime.
