She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Jay Burkey; and her brother Bill Dodson. She is survived by: her children, Judy Turner (Gale) of Sarcoxie, Bruce Burkey (Camie) of Diamond, Rick Burkey (Elva) of Carthage and David Burkey of Reeds; her grandchildren, Mike Turner, Tammy Gilbreath (Scott), Bart Burkey (Kelly), Logan Burkey and Toby Brown (Kenzie); her great grandchildren, Austin Turner, Megan Gilbreath, Lauren Gilbreath, Kanah Burkey, Barrett Burkey, Kutter Brown and Taitum Brown; and her sisters, Phyllis Carr of Sarcoxie, Betty Reid of Sarcoxie and Carolyn Branum (Roger) of Houston, Texas.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Sarcoxie Chiefs 4-H in care of the funeral home.
