He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Wescott and Roberta Wescott (Johnson); his granddaughter Nola Rhyan Brand; and his brother-in-law Frank Spitznagel. He is survived by: his wife Glenna Brand; his stepson Jason Brand (Ashly) of Macon; his daughter Jennifer; his son-in-law Shane Herrin of Moberly; his sister Jeanette; his brother-in-law Bob Hawkins of St. Louis; his grandchildren, Archer, Stella, Gunner Brand, Jeremy, Ashley and Matthew Herrin; his great grandchildren, Chloe and Brayden Herrin; and his sister-in-law Debbie Anderson of Ft. Madison. He is also survived by several nieces and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Children's Wish Foundation, St. Jude Children's Hospital, or Larry's Warrior Foundation.
