He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Helmich and Emma Frances Helmich (Galliher); his brother Alfred "Mick" E. Helmich; and his daughter Beth Lee Helmich. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Wilson; his children, Barbara Hipp (Roy) of Oklahoma and Bill Jo Helmich (Carol) of Cairo, MO; his siblings, Donald Helmich of Bethel, MO and Dorothy Kitley of Collinsville, IL; and his grandchildren, Ashley Fuster (Miguel) of Chesapeake, VA, Danelle Helmich of Moberly, MO, Miranda Helmich of Marysville, MO, Garrett Helmich of Iowa, Joey Hipp of Oklahoma, Sirena Wiley of Florida and Justin Hipp of Florida. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
