He was predeceased by: his parents, William Epperson and Lucille Epperson (Payne); and his brother Michael Morris. He is survived by: his children, Tonia Hess of Salem Missouri, Audy Cowsky (Andy) of St. Petersburg, Zoa Owens of Georgia, Donald Epperson of Horsecave Kentucky and Larry Epperson of Horsecave, Kentucky; his siblings, Duke Morris of Durham and Donna Simmons of Virginia; and his grandchildren, Michael Hess, Seth Hess, Willo Owens and Westly Owens.
