He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Horrell; his parents, Robertus Bernard Horrell and Lillian Virginia Horrell; and his sister Carla Schenk (Elmer). He is survived by: his children, Kelly Webert (Rick), Ryan Horrell (Erica) and Robert Horrell (Crystal); his grandchildren, Robbie Horrell, Brad Horrell, Ashley Horrell, Sam Webert, Sophia Webert and Morgan Horrell; and his brother Frank Horrell (Pam). He is also survived by other family members and friends.

Bob, a pioneer in the bass fishing industry, made significant contributions to its growth throughout the Midwest.
