Genell R. N. Perkins Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genell R. N. Perkins in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on November 5, 2024, at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Charles Perkins; her brother Devon Matthews; her aunt Brenda Washington; her uncle Alvin Sanders; and her grandmothers, Sarah Sanders and Caroline Perkins.
She is survived by: her friend Hayden; her mother Shirley G. Sanders; her daughter Hayden A. Perkins; her grandfather Earvin Sanders Sr. (Marie); her uncles, Earvin Sanders (Chaya), DuWayne Sanders and Gerald Washington; her aunt Wanda Sanders; and her siblings, LaDonna Scott, Ervin Sanders and Kyle Washington. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Resurrection COGIC (2456 Donna Dr., Cahokia, IL 62226). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
She was a co-founder of Blessed 2 B Devon Matthews Memorial Foundation.
