It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Frederick Craig of Saint Joseph, Missouri, born in Atchison, Kansas, who passed away on October 16, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. As William departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved William. He was predeceased by: his parents, Iris Craig and Freddie Craig; his wife Cynthia Craig; and his brothers, Donald and Raymond Skeen.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Oden of Atchison, KS, Rebecca Schmidt (Terry) of Nortonville, KS and Jamie Craig of San Antonio, TX; and his sisters, Iris Martin (John) of Boonville, MO, Judy Weekly (Gary) of Topeka, KS, Nancy Christman (Willie) of Wathena, KS, Ramona Hundley of Falls City, NE, Patricia Bittle of St. Joseph and Jean Baker of Atchison, KS. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nephews and nieces.
