She was predeceased by: her parents, Ward Merriott and Wilma Ryther (Brown); her husband Ivan L. Scroggins; and her siblings, Joyce Russell, Louis Benkula and Dr. Merlin Brown.
She is survived by: her stepfather Emery Ryther; her children, William Scroggins (Kathy), Jeanine Rock and Mark Scroggins; her grandchildren, Ryan, Bradley, Amy, Andrea and Alexandria; her great grandchildren, Carter, Ayden, Easton and Blakely; and her brother Jim Merriott.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
