It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Sue Leslie of Saint Joseph, Missouri, born in Albany, Missouri, who passed away on October 17, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Parsons and Herman Parsons; her husband William "Sonny" Leslie, Jr.; her children, Jim Leslie, Kathy Leslie, Judith Leslie, Mary Beth Kerns and Jane Leslie; her sisters, Jean Ann James and Evelyn Mapel; and her granddaughter Nicole Hatheway.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandy Hatheway (Rick) of St. Joseph; her sisters, Betty McIntosh and Mary Kay Reid; her grandchildren, Shawn Brown, Heather Lindley (Jayson), Josh Hatheway, Jared Hatheway and Jessica Hatheway; and her great grandchildren, Conner, Jayden and Cohen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
