Lois Elaine Lyon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Elaine Lyon of Saint Joseph, Missouri, born in Martinsville, Missouri, who passed away on April 7, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oreana Gentry and Ivan Gentry; her daughter Lynette Heald; her former husband Russell McIntosh; her sisters, Dixie Barbosa and Datie Winsworth; and her son-in-law DeWayne Hicks.
She is survived by: her husband Milton Gene Lyon; her children, Linda Price (Hicks), Pam Freeman (Brian) of Tucson, AZ, Francis Lyon (Coleen) of Easton, MO and Jerry Lyon (Diane) of Chapel Hill, NC; her siblings, Ella Mae Horn, Margaret Wolfe and John Gentry; her brothers-in-law, Bill Lyon (Janet) and Al McIntosh; and her grandchildren, Shacinda Cook, Kaleigh Wilson, Melanie Garland, Amy Griffin, Penny Orrick, Libby Freeman, Abby Freeman, Ellie Freeman, Austin Hicks, Gideon Freeman, Ben Freeman and Kris McKinney. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are requested to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
