She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Mason and Martha Deaton Mason. She is survived by: her daughters, Joy Kieser Freidel (David) of St. Joseph, MO, Stephanie LaFollette (Jeremy) of Kansas City, MO and Amy Dale; her grandchildren, Reed, Hadley and Jake; and her siblings, Steve (Nora) of Lincoln, NE, Mark (Ann), Larry (Laura) of Shelbyville, MO and Ann Bach (Jeff) of Mount Joy, PA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her honor.
