He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Culley and Ada Culley (House). He is survived by: his sister Joyce Ann Custer; his wife Marcella; his daughters, Monica Coats (Steven), Lisa Benedict (Rickie Benedict Jr.) and Melissa Looker (Dar); his grandchildren, Trevor, Mason, Ashley, Preston, Leaetta, Tyce, Teagan and Taryn; and his brother Wayne L. Culley (Patty). He is also survived by brothers and sisters; and several other extended family members and friends.
The family suggests memorial contributions to New Home Baptist Church.
