He was predeceased by: his parents, Jane Stewart (Nell) and Wentlo Stewart; his stepdaughter Lori Ellis; and his brother Thomas Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Karen Sue Stewart; his children, James "Jimmy" Stewart Jr. of Iowa and Christina Jennings (Terry) of Iowa; and his siblings, Ina Cox (Steve) of St. Joseph and John Stewart (Jackie) of Fillmore, MO. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials to be made to the donors choice.
