He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Angus and Wilma J. Butts (Higgins); his brother Richard; and his sister-in-law Judith Butts. He is survived by: his children, John C. Butts and Mendy Stephens (Shane); his grandchildren, Nick, Jaxson, Bailey, Karley, Jaeson, Jacob Butts, Cassidy Routh, Luke and Jake Stephens; his sister-in-law Melanie Waldroff (Robert); his nephew Shawn Waldroff (Crystal); and his niece Stacy Anderson (Chris). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
