He is survived by: his sister Jackie Sander; his wife Ethel; his children, Brent Fortune (Kelley Matthews) of Mound City, MO and Teri Amos (Troy Fender) of St. Joseph; his grandchildren, Dylan Amos, Tyler Fortune (Sara) and Traci Grove (Kyle) of St. Joseph; his great grandchildren, Casen Fortune, Laken Fortune, Boden Fortune, Griffin Grove and Charlee Grove; his nieces and nephews, Chris Wahlert (Tim), Doug Pankonen (Amber), Alice Ray (Ryan), Kelly Karns (Nick), Lindsay Sander and Elizabeth Sander; and his in-laws, Jim Gerstner, Jackie Merritt and Codi Merritt.
