It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Elizabeth (Oligschlaeger) Beck (Saint Elizabeth, Missouri), who passed away on October 27, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Oligschlaeger and Martha Oligschlaeger (Doerhoff); her husband Leonard Beck; her son Philip; her brother Herman; and her siblings-in-law, Eleanor Beck, Bernice Beck, Norma Beck, Pauline Huhman, Verna Oligschlaeger, Alfred Beck, James Moore and Herman Huhman.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Wankum (Jerry) of St. Louis, MO, Doris Ellis of Warrensburg, MO, Paul Beck (Janet) of St. Elizabeth and Greg Beck (Andrea) of Jefferson City, MO; her grandchildren, Daniel Wankum of Minneapolis, MN, Thomas Wankum (Laura) of St. Louis, Michael Wankum (Margaret) of Minneapolis, Phillip Beck (Danielle) of Columbia, Connor Beck (Macy) of St. Elizabeth, Natalie Clements (Chris) of Minot, ND and Emily Lashlee (Robert) of Colorado Springs, CO; her great grandchildren, Devon Clements, Grace Clements, William Clements, Owen Clements, Julia Lashlee and Lily Lashlee; her siblings, Victoria Moore of St. Louis, James Oligschlaeger of Licking, MO and Charles Oligschlaeger of Boulder City, NV; and her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Oligschlaeger of Jefferson City, Theodore Beck (Christl) of Agawam, MA, Raymond Beck (Delilah) of Columbia and Norbert Beck of St. Elizabeth. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are suggested to be made to St. Lawrence Catholic Church for the renovation project or The Bluffs Care Center.
