It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verlyn Ray Branson of Saint Clair, Missouri, born in Linn, Missouri, who passed away on April 6, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Branson and Flora Branson; his wife Wanda Branson; and his sister Dixie Puckett. He is survived by: his children, John Edward Branson and Donna Lippert (Greg) of Wentzville, MO; his grandchildren, Melissa Dierenfeldt (Michael), Leanna Morken (Jeremy) and Robert Branson (Danielle); his great grandchildren, George, Cora, Zachary, William Dierenfeldt, Colter, Alissa Morken, Deziray, Dylan and Bejamin Branson; and his sister Velda Party of Linn. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Osage County Historical Society or Hope Ranch of Missouri.
