He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Pruitt and Lila Beiler; his former wife Rosemary Mae Pruitt (DeClue); his wife Eileen Pruitt (Rulo); his son Marvin Pruitt; his son-in-law John Stevens; his sisters, Ruby Cain and Shirley Sanders; and his brothers-in-law, Roscoe Cain and Frank Sanders.
He is survived by: his children, George DeClue (Nancy), Kathy Stevens, Yvonne Heller, Pete Pruitt (Diane Boyer), Peg Thurmond (Ben), Eddie Pruitt (Becky), Michelle Thurmond (Gary), Jerry Pruitt, Stacey Roussin and Randy Rulo (Hallie); and his sister-in-law Jackie Pruitt. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
