He was predeceased by: his parents, James Boggs and Maudie Boggs of Appalachia Virginia; his siblings, Elbert, Jim, Curtis, Danny, Cecil, Mable, Margie, Martha and Lois; and his granddaughter Jennifer Boggs.
He is survived by: his wife Clara "Jean" Boggs; his sons, Michael (Michelle) and Kenneth; and his grandchildren, Mike Jr. Mark, Amy and Aaron. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and many family members and friends.
