She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Joseph Overschmidt and Florence Marie Overschmidt; and her brother Walter Overschmidt. She is survived by: her husband Gordian Grus of St. Clair, MO; her children, Ronald Grus (Marcia Sterling) of St. Clair, Nancy Baylard (David) of New Haven, MO, Debra Hoffman (Mark) of St. Clair, Mary Bursey (Michael) of St. Clair and Ricky Grus (Trish) of St. Clair; and her sisters, Helen Albrecht of Ballwin, MO, Patricia McHugh of St. Clair, Judith Harper (Gary) of Drummonds, TN and Karen Overschmidt of St. Peters, MO. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
Interment was in the St. Clare Catholic Cemetery, St. Clair, MO, Memorials may be made to the family to establish a scholarship fund in Barb's name.
