He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard and Julia; and his brothers, Don (Hilda), Jack (Jane) and Paul (Janice).

He is survived by: his wife Katherine; his children, Christina Walewski (Jeffrey), Bryan and William (Stacy); and his grandchildren, Allison, Hollye, Alena, Branton, Julianne, Dominic, Mason, Audrey and Ty.
