She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Barnett and Eva Merle Barnett (Warren); her husband James Lee Bohannon; her grandson Michael Wayne McDowell; and her siblings, Charles, Gerald, James Barnett, Maxine Robinson and Lola Cherry.

She is survived by: her children, Steven Bohannon (Holly), Debra Bohannon and Donna Baker (Bohannon); her grandchildren, Lane, Landan (Kate), Lance, Jared, Kellene, Megan and Matthew; her great grandchildren, James, Taylor, Logan, Benjamin, Lola and George; and her siblings, Arlis Barnett and Marilyn Richards.
